1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Web3Val ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Web3Val is a technical assessment platform for Web3 developers. We provide tools for companies to evaluate candidates' skills in Solana, Ethereum, and frontend Web3 development through various assessment types including coding challenges, multiple choice questions, and security reviews.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Types

• Candidates: Individuals taking assessments
• Recruiters/Companies: Organizations creating and managing assessments
• Administrators: Platform management accounts

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share assessment questions, answers, or content outside the platform
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to complete assessments
• Impersonate another person or provide false information
• Attempt to cheat, including but not limited to:
  • Using AI tools to generate answers
  • Copying from external sources
  • Having someone else complete your assessment
  • Using unauthorized browser extensions
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

5. Assessment Integrity

Our platform includes anti-cheat monitoring. By taking an assessment, you consent to:

• Tab switching and focus detection
• Clipboard monitoring during assessments
• Time tracking on questions
• Browser and device fingerprinting

Violations may result in assessment invalidation and account termination.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

Assessment questions, platform design, and all related materials are owned by Web3Val or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

6.2 Your Submissions

Code and answers you submit during assessments may be stored and used for evaluation purposes. You retain ownership of original code you write, but grant us license to store, process, and share it with the recruiting company.

7. Payment Terms

For paid plans (when available): Fees are charged in advance on a subscription basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF ASSESSMENT RESULTS OR SKILL EVALUATIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEB3VAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Web3Val from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Web3Val is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or prominent notice on our Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
